Applications from New ZealandThe South African High Commission in Wellington, New Zealand, started operating on 1 April 2009. The requirements for the various services are basically the same as on the www.sahc.org.au web page BUT must be forwarded to the South African High Commission in Wellington together with the correct NEW ZEALAND currency. The SAHC in Wellington is able to assist with the following Consular Services:
The BI-9 Fingerprint form must be requested from consular@sahcwellington.co.nz or Wellington@foreign.gov.za Applications emanating from New Zealand must be posted to: The South African High Commission All applications must include a self addressed New Zealand prepaid courier bag (not envelopes). The courier bag will be used as return postage. Fees: The applicable application in New Zealand dollars are as follows:
Payment must be in the form of a Money / Postal Order or Bank Draft in New Zealand currency, made payable to the “South African High Commission”.
All applications for South African passports from New Zealand MUST be forwarded to the Mission in Wellington. However, please note that all South African passports applications are forwarded to Pretoria for issuing. These passport applications may take up to 6 months to be finalized.
